this is one of the best acupuncturists in the area. when I was close to the end of my pregnancy (ok, past my due date) I went in to see Beth to try to induce labor. while I didn't go in to labor that day or the next, when I did my labor was quick and smooth, and I contribute some of that to my treatments with Beth. plus she's just a great person!

I go to this school, so of course am a little biased, but I did travel 3000 miles to go, so that must mean something. they are extremely good at what they do, and have a sliding scale clinic. they also have a free ear acupuncture ear clinic for those who can't afford the full appointment. acupuncture is great -- for everything!

we have brought many people visiting from out of town to Alcatraz because it's a nice tour and shows great history in San Francisco. you can get the audio tour for only like $5 so that's pretty reasonable, and you can get totally creeped out if you decide to go at night. I have heard they sometimes have concerts there, too.

this store had a lot in a little space, and it's one of those overpriced boutiques (in my opinion) but you can go to the back of the store and find some items that are somewhat reasonably priced. I will say that they do have some really cute outfits, ones that you might be tempted to buy at the prices they are asking.

I have been searching for the perfect pair of jeans for myself and each time I think I've found them I wear them a couple times and they sag in the butt. I went into Lucky Brand jeans store and asked the woman to help me. she told me to go down a size, which I thought was crazy cause I can't breathe when I zip them up, but she was right, they do stretch out in the waist and stay fitted everywhere else. instead of buying 10 pairs of jeans on sale for $20 each I'm just going to suck it up and throw down $100 for a great pair.

I have really high arches in my feet and it's always hard for me to find shoes that fit and don't hurt my feet. these are great because they conform to your feet and so each pair gets "molded" to your foot and fits you exactly. I wear these shoes everywhere and they are my favorite most comfy thing to wear
