This is the best hair salon for fun fresh styles. It is hard for me to plan ahead so I tend to call into make my appointments at the last minute. That said I have seen several different stylists at Vain and have never been dissapointed. My hair changes with the seasons and they always keep it fresh. Lot's to look at - rotating art shows, sexy people and fun gift items and beauty products.
They are involved in the community and sponsor organizations I support. It is more than just a beauty shop. Check it out.

Don't let the dejected anarchist sales clerks put you off. I mean hell we are living in some dark times. Tons of non-fiction used and new.

If you live downtown this place has everything. Shoe shine, groceries, hardware, healthfood and supplements, books, and really interesting people. It is one of the things that makes Seattle special. If you haven't been to the market in awhile check it out this weekend. I was down there yesterday and the tulips are off the hook!
