The Office has some really good old-fashioned food. They are not about healthy trendy food at all. They serve big burgers, fried chicken, fish and chips, onion rings, etc. They are family friendly, so you don't have to worry if your kids are a little bit noisy. The other cool thing is that the saloon area (where the booze and karaoke are) are in a separate room from the restaurant part. This makes it nice so that if you go dinner with your family, you don't have to watch and listen to a bunch of rowdy drunk people.

I love this toothbrush. I picked it up after going to the dentist and finding that I had cavities along my gumline from brushing my teeth to hard because I felt like they weren't getting clean enough. I tried this toothbrush and was really happy with it. My teeth felt cleaner than they ever had with any manual toothbrush. I used to think that people only used electric toothbrushes because of laziness, now I understand that it is because it does a better job. This toothbrush is great too because it has a built in timer that lets you know once you have brushed for the recommended 2 minutes. This toothbrush feels really good on my teeth and gums and is really gentle and thorough.

This is an awesome bike shop for the whole family. It is run by a guy who is really into cycling and knows everything about it. Therefore, he carries quality items and has answers to whatever questions you might have. The store has a variety of bikes from in-expensive to the top of the line. They have bikes for kids and bikes for adults. Not only do they have bikes, but they have all of the accessories for dressing them up or increasing performance. You can also get bicycling clothes/workout wear and helmets. Pretty much, you don't have to go anywhere else but Art's for all of your bicycling needs.

This is a neat little bookstore. They have some new stuff, but pretty much everything else is used. I like the fact that there area constantly new used books coming in, so you never know what might show up. The prices are really good and it is entertaining just to go in and look around and browse. Another neat thing that they do is that they usually have a couple of big boxes of books outside the store that have books for free in them. Obviously they aren't the newest bestsellers or anything, but you can sometimes find some really neat things in there and it's free.

They also have pretty good sales occasionally. They have a pretty big selection of Christian jewelry, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other items. They have a large selection of Christian CDs and DVDs as well. I like to go here for gifts for people because they have beautiful wall-hangings, frames and other decorative items for the home. The atmosphere is really relaxing and quiet with just some mellow music playing in the background. I would highly recommend The Parable.

This is a really good book, even if you aren't a big fan of Dr. Laura. Basically, a lot of it is common sense stuff that we all kind of forget about. Things like the premise that if you are nice to people, they will usually be nice back to you. It also helps women to kind of get an idea of how their husband's mind works and what they might be feeling as a result of their wife's actions. To be honest, there really wasn't a lot in this book that I didn't already know. What makes this book great is that it is a reminder. Sometimes we get stuck in a rut and are just grumpy all the time or "let ourselves go" or withhold intimacy from our husbands, and this book reminds us that basically, by hurting our husbands we are hurting ourselves. The main point of this book is that if you just treat your husband well without playing pride/power games, you will get much more back from him and have a happier marriage.

Hudson's grill is a fun, casual place to eat when you are in San Luis. It's styled after a 1950's burger joint. They have really good burgers and some yummy curly fries that they serve in a basket together. One of the things that the kids like to see is the car that is "crashed" through the wall. They are famous for their milkshakes - served the old fashioned way in a tall glass with whipped cream and a cherry and the rest of the shake served next to it in a metal shaker.
For the adults, they have some really good HUGE margaritas for a pretty cheap price and they have lots of flavors to choose from.

Snapfish is a nice website for photos. You can upload your photos to their website and even share photos with family members and friends. You can order prints, enlargements and photo gifts from their website. I think that Costco is a little cheaper than Snapfish's regular prices, but Snapfish frequently offers coupons that make them cheaper or the same price as Costco. They give you several free prints just for signing up. They will also, upon your request, send you postage paid photo mailers so that you can send your film in to them and have it developed. The quality of the photos is really good.

Moody Brews is a really nice place to go and have coffee with a friend. The atmosphere is very inviting and the coffee is great. They have gone out of their way to make people feel like they can just take their time and visit and enjoy their coffee. The owners also own the "Gina's Piece of Cake" bakery, so they have some really yummy goodies at Moody Brews as well. The location is really convenient as well - it is very close to shopping downtown, so you can just stop in for a drink and snack when you want to take a break from shopping.
