I have lived here for 5 years and have not minded it up until this last year. When I first moved into these apartments the facility was extremely clean and well kept with excellent management. It is still really nice but management has become lax on certain things. For example, we recently had 3 new neighbors move in and they ALL play their music WAY TOO LOUD. One individual played his music at 3:00am. I called the security person and he informed me that it wasn't his job and that I should call the police. I didn't want to call the police so I asked the individual to turn it down. Management informed me, from the very beginning, that if these problems were to ever occur that they would take care of it and to call security. I have asked management to take over these problems and yet they still keep occurring.
Other than management I would say that these apartments are really clean and nice to live in. Don't let the workout room fool you, its crap! In all the years I have lived there I have only used it twice.
The neighborhood is ghetto and you will hear an occasional gun shot.
My boyfriend and I aren't really fazed by all this and haven't had any real problems accept for our loud neighbors.

Welcome to Forever 21 where fashion is up to you! I was introduced to this store by my lovely friend Sheri and have worshiped her ever since. When I first walked into this store I was immediately intimidated. First by all the women running around frantically pushing each other out of the way and second by all the different styles all clumped together on racks. I took a breath and jumped in with both feet. Once I was finished I was extremely happy with my purchases and have been back at least two other times.

This is an excellent store for 90 pound women and under. Some of the tops are really cute and may fit but the majority of the items in this store are for what I call "barely there women". The jeans are so little that I cant even imagine a 10 year old being able to fit into them. The accessories are really cool and come at a good price. I have bought a few tops there myself but the majority of the time I walk out empty handed. So for all you tiny little women I would highly recommend shopping here.

I cant stand Buffalo Exchange. I have some friends that LOVE it and I have some that feel the same way I do. The only items I have been able to purchase are shoes. One of my friends has the same complain that shoes are the only things she can find in this store that seem to match her needs. I have brought items to sell here and when the clerks are looking it over you feel like you are involved in some kind of popularity contest. I have instant flashbacks to high school when all the trendy popular girls would walk by, look me up and down and shake their heads in disgust. Not a good feeling. However some people LOVE it here and its worth checking it out to see if it fits your style.

The clothing as a whole is different. If you are one of those people who can take a piece of cloth and make it into an amazing outfit than this is your place. They also carry new clothing items as well.

I have taken my car to Les Schwab for years. They always get my car in as fast as possible and you cant beat the free service after purchasing their tires. The popcorn is not so great and I wouldn't recommend it. I usually bring a good book and wait for about a half an hour while I get my tires rotated. The best part is that they usually tell me if the notice something off in my brakes or etc.

The chocolate chip cookies are not the only good items to eat here. The bakery goods are all perfect. All of their soups are hearty and good for you. They also make amazing sandwiches. They are not open on the weekends so make your stop during the week in you can.

You know those donuts that are displayed at Starbucks? Well they are Top Pot donuts and having one from Starbucks does not give them justice. I gave this place a great because the coffee is not terrific. You better get there early in the morning because the Bismarks (vanilla pudding filled chocolate donut) run out very fast. My absolute favorite are the pink boas! There are a ton to select from and each person has there own favorite.

I have yet to find a bakery, even in Seattle, that is comparable to this. They have the most amazing banana cake. I know, banana cake sounds gross but this is something that you have to try. They have the lightest pastry and it crumbles in your mouth in a most delicate manner. The chocolate mint cake is so good that its hard not to eat the entire thing. PLEASE stop by this place on your way through Vancouver. It is an experience to be remembered.
