This branch is open more hours than the other branch over on 19th in the James Center. I like this branch inside of Safeway, because they are nice people, are open on weekends (Sundays too) and longer hours during the week, and I can get some shopping done while I'm there. It's quick and easy.

I'm glad that this little place is still around. One of the few traditional places that hasn't been over-inhabited yet. Proves that if a pub is good, it sticks around for a while! Wish I lived closer - their beer selection is terrific and it's a great place to just sit, have a beer and not have to feel like you're on display.

My partner and I had our second date here, which we still rate as the best date that either one of us has ever been on. We went for a motorcycle ride over the Narrows, and since we were hungry, we got off the bridge and went looking for a place on or near the water. We basically drove right down to Titlow Beach and found this place on a fluke after asking some guy at the boat yard a few blocks over. Had a beer, long good conversation, and a really good pub bacon burger here. Small, congenial, and a great place to have a happy memory right before he left to go back to Iraq the next day. Our favorite picture together is the one we took after eating here, right on Titlow Beach. When he got back, we purposely moved within a few blocks of "our place" and spent more dates and even New Years Eve 2004/2005 there (even though we got pregnant right after he got back, I drank water or pop - duh!). After our motorcycle rides, we'd end up here and have long conversations about everything, as is "our thing." We love this place and talk about it often, even though with our new baby it's hard to get here. Gotta get a sitter! :)

I grew up in the South, and this is BY FAR the best Southern cooking that I have longed for for years. You can't get better red beans and rice, or sweet potato pie. Great, homey, and just plain old terrific. Great for those of us who don't want a lot of hoo-hah with our food, and who come to eat!
The neighborhood is just fine, right by the hospitals.

I got my hair cut and done here for my cousin's wedding. I don't remember the name of my stylist (sorry! Rebecca maybe? Short gal, blonde hair). She was great! I felt so great in this place, very comfortable, which is weird to feel "comfortable" in a hair salon. I'm not a beauty fashionista so I typically won't go back to a salon is there's too much posturing going on. I just wanted a good solid cute cut and a nice do, and I got one. The price was reasonable and well worth it. I'm glad I paid what I paid for what I got, because in salons, you usually get overcharged for crappy performance, but not at Robert Leonard. They had a professional, courteous staff, used to dealing with Seattle's old money, not the fly by night flaky people with overly trendy dos. This was the best haircut and style I'd ever had in my life. I would definitely go back to her and them when I need a special styling for my hair.

Extreme is right

Yeah this stuff is pretty extreme. It burns. It does the job to clean your teeth, as if you went in with a sander to get every little bit of junk out. I want clean teeth, not a burn mark and a trip to the dentist! If you have pretty bad breath or you eat foods that are pungent and stick in your teeth, I suppose this would be a good tooth paste to try out. Wow though, it's powerful.

Great for normal every day users of tooth paste. I buy this sometimes at the Dollar Tree, because it's a long-used and reliable brand. I like the gel, as it works really well and gets my teeth clean. This stuff tastes good too, and it's safe for my kids. Good stuf to try, it's cheap, and it works well for all members of the family.

Great for chapped lips
I use this stuff when I can't find my Carmex. This is a reliable good product that does what it says it will do. My kids like it, and they use it when it's winter and we hit the slopes. Also great...
I use this stuff when I can't find my Carmex. This is a reliable good product that does what it says it will do. My kids like it, and they use it when it's winter and we hit the slopes. Also great for those of us who like to stick our heads out of our cars or ride in convertibles. LOL The Aquaphor brand works really well for all of their products for dry skin.

I've used this off and on for years, when it's on sale. It used to be a really exclusive brand back in the 1980s, but now it's everywhere. That's ok, it doesn't work any less. Works great, has a terrific smell (Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific LOL), and it really does moisten the hair. I use it with the 3 minute miracle stuff about once per year or so, and it works pretty well for how much it is.

I love the smell of this stuff! And it works SOOO well! It smells like heaven to me. Light and airy, and I like that Aveda doesn't use animal ingredients. They are a really good quality maker of personal toiletry products - I have several and absolutely LOVE the Aveda smell. Expensive, but you use so little of them that it's worth it. I sometimes buy them on eBay new, and it's cheaper.
