Many restaurants fail miserably when you need something simple like an extra napkin - a clean fork - etc. Not Taste of India. If ever you need something more to make your meal complete - simply drink more than 1/4 of your water glass - and a server will be there to refill it - and be available to solve your problem.
Some of the food up the street at Bengal Tiger is better - but the service is lacking in comparison. The only only restaurant I've been to in Seattle with similar service is CJ's eatery.

I'm almost scared to write this review, for fear of spoiling one of Seattle's best kept breakfast secrets. All of the Editor's top picks are fine restaurants - some of them excellent. CJ's wins my vote for "Best in Seattle." Walk in, sit down, and have a hot fresh coffee within seconds. Order your meal, and start your weekend crossword... In an average under 8 minutes your breakfast will arrive HOT and DELICIOUS. (I'm not joking... the first time I thought it was an anomaly, but I've timed it on several visits...) This is not fine dining by any means. This is diner fare - similar to what you can find in other places... What makes the difference is the consistent HIGH quality, the speed, the friendly and VERY attentive wait staff. On second thought... never mind... I don't want to have to wait for a seat anytime soon...

I shared veggie fajitas with my wife, so our order wasn't very expansive. Our veggies were obviously from a bag of frozen veggies, soggily re-heated. The tortillas were also out of a bag. I could have made this at home, and it would have been better - and cheaper! Definitely not authentic, or all-cooked on site.

A 2 star dish really is, and a 5 star too!
Not the best Thai I've ever had, but good and cheap. Great place to ring up and have the order waiting for you to pick up and take back to your shanty.

We used to live a lot closer to Krittika and would go a few times a month. We lived closer to Royal Palm and would generally pick Krittika over it. Great Pad See Ew and various Yellow curries. The decor is funky and the service is always excellent. Kind of hot in the summer months since they don't have air conditioning.

Is not buffet and I've never been for lunch. The food and service are both excellent. The decor is pretty over the top since they moved. While not certified kosher the ingredient list contains nothing that is problematic by ingredient, including colorings and the like. Not quite as spicy as I like but that just means you need to adjust your ordering to counter it.

It's McDonald's in disguise

Apparently Chipotle is owned by McD's, and you might guess it based on the way they do some of the food prep, but I liken it more to "Subway sandwiches does Burritos". Like every outfit in town these things are huge. A regular size is more than 1 person can possibly justify eating. The vegetarian options are reasonable, so long as you're willing to accept that they cook the veggies on the same grill as the chicken and beef.

Of all the places that are easy walking distance from our house this is the best. The menu is not hugely vegetarian friendly - but not many are. The jalapeno poppers are great, and I heard from another member of our party that the aforementioned philly cheese steak was great.
Pretty kid friendly too, with decent menu items and the typical coloring page and crayons

Ok, so we were probably asking for it by going here, but when you drive by this place long enough with its lack of windows and big cars in the lot you start to wonder if its a mafia hangout.

Ok - maybe that's just us.
The food was ok, but it was really hard to get a vegetarian dish. Even after inquiring about several items and specifying that it had to be vegetarian we still received the full antipasto treatment on the salad... with whatever kind of sausage it includes.
Then our waitress tossed away the doggie bag.
