I can honestly say that I think at least once a month about how I'd like to go back to Fun Forest. It has enough rides that are exciting, but not so scary that you end up screaming at your friends for convincing you to ride them. It's a good place for children or teens or adults. While a bit on the expensive side for an activity, for an amusement park, it's pretty well-priced.

When my girlfriend and I went to H & I after her car was stolen, they made the experience much better. They were friendly and could see us immediately after we called. In addition, they went over the whole car with us, positing why certain damage might have been done and giving us an initial estimate of time. Overall, we definitely had a very positive experience.

The more I get my hair cut at Gene Juarez and the more I talk to others who do, the more I realize that it's a more luxerious twin of most hair salons. For those who like ambiance and want the spa feel, this is money well spent. You put on a robe and wait in a very upscale waiting area with all the cinnamon tea you can drink. You feel relaxed and surrounded by luxery. The hair cuts are like most places, hit or miss. Sometime's they're what you want, sometimes better, sometimes worse. So it depends on what you're looking for. If you want the get-away-from-it-all spa feel, go to G.J. If you just want a hair cut, you're money's probably as well spent at a cheaper place.

I get my hair cut very short. The thing about getting your hair cut very short, is that every inch makes a big difference. I went to Betty at the Coed Beauty Salon and showed her a picture of what I wanted. The first thing she said was "your hair is to curly for that". Honesty, how refreshing. Then she cut all my hair to the length SHE thought I should have. When I wanted it shorter, she cut it ALL AGAIN. This is a great salon.

The hair stylist I saw at Swarthmore Hair Studio was great. She listened to all my ideas without seeming bored or rushed, and then responded with an idea that was exactly what I was looking for. She cut my hair exactly how she had described it and didn’t even try me to get the products she used in it. Instead, she suggested some cheaper products I could buy.

I once was looking all over for an out-of-print travel book for my mother and had looked everywhere I could online. I couldn’t find it for less than $50 anywhere, until I happened to stop by Booksource Ltd. The owner found the book for me in a matter of minutes and made me quite a deal on it too.

When I have a lot of money some day, I am going to go into Bailey Coy and buy like 100 books. They pick the most interesting books. I could spend hours sitting on the step and reading. and they also have half-priced books for the cost-conscious.
I am particularly impressed by their two discount policies. 1: they have a quote outside and, if you guess what book it's from, you get 20% off any book. 2: if you buy 10 books, they give you a gift certificate worth the *average price* of the books you've bought. So if you're buying expensive books, you get one free.

Everyone *loves* Elliot Bay Bookstore. But they don't let you bring books into the coffee shop and I find their store hard to navigate. However, I have been to quite a few readings there that are awesome and I did once buy an awesome children's book there. and I know they have an amazing selection. There just aren't a lot of places to sit and read.

I refused to read Harry Potter for the longest time. It was too mainstream, blahblahblah. As soon as I got through the first book I was hooked. If you're going to read a bestseller (or a series of them), make it this one. Be a part of the crowd, give up your will, and enjoy Harry Potter. You'll never go back.
