I have been running, biking, and driving by Perfect Wheels for over five years and had never gone in. Recently, I purchased a bike from a friend and needed some maintenance done on it before it was rideable and dropped it in to Perfect Wheels on very short notice. The bike was done within a couple days, and is a gem to ride.
While the shop is small, the service is excellent and Larry knows what he's doing. I wouldn't hesitate taking any other bikes to him and his shop for repair.

This is definitely the workhorse lens of the whole Canon lineup. Sharp at almost every aperture and all throughout the focal range, this is perhaps one of the most versatile and best zoom lenses on the market.
Paired with any of the film or digital EOS line of cameras, you'll achieve stunning and contrasty photographs.
Keep in mind, however, that this lens is not for everybody. If you have lots of money to burn through, by all means purchase this lens -- you won't regret it. If you're not blessed with an extra $1200, there are a number of alternative product offerings from Tokina, Tamron and Sigma which come close to matching the sharpness, contrast and colour this lens is capable of.
Many people tend to become frustrated with the EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, and upgrade to this. My only complaint is that it doesn't offer internal focusing and zooming. In August, 2005 Canon announced the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens, which is going to give the 24-70 a little competition in the prosumer market. Whether or not the 24-105 will measure up to the stunning quality of the 24-70 -- time will only tell.

If you are thinking about entering the world of digital photography and want a little more control over your camera, look no further than the Canon EOS 20D. This camera really shines for the advanced amateur and professional shooters.
Keep in mind, this is a pretty expensive camera body, which comes in with a price tag in the $1300 range, so it isn't for everyone.
Canon has an excellent series of EF auto focus lenses that, when paired with the 20D can produce some very stunning photographic results.
Where this camera really shines, is in the high ISO (or high light sensitivity) ranges of 1600 and 3200. There is very little digital noise, so if you are shooting in low light conditions, this camera is a great performer.
The 20D is a little smaller than the EOS 10D (which it replaced), and if you're used to shooting with the 10D, it will feel a bit cheaper than that camera. The first thing I noticed with the 20D, was what appeared to be a flimsy compact flash door.
Bottom line on this camera -- if you have the money to spend and a desire to find the light and make photographs -- this is a great camera, and you won't be disappointed.

What started out as a great place to stop late at night on your way home from downtown Seattle, turned into my favorite restaurant. It all started when I moved to Seattle five years ago, and couldn't believe restaurants closed so early.
While Pomodoro isn't a large restaurant, it has a lot of charm and character.
I usually like to get started with the beefsteak tomatoes, which is essentially their version of a caprese salad just covered with basil. Their pasta dishes are very tasty, and continuing the basil trend, the fettucini al pesto and linguine carbonara are definitely my favorites.
If you're there on a slow night, they might bring out their special dessert menu, which includes bananas foster -- flambeed bananas in a brown sugar, rum and liquer sauce served over ice cream in a large wine glass. This is definitely worth ordering for the experience of having it flambeed at your table.
Definitely a hidden gem in Seattle!

I have now visited the Crepe Cafe three times, all of which were excellent experiences. As the previous reviewer said, they only have two cooking surfaces for crepes, and paninis. However, they are as fast as they can, and the food is superb. The Modena Roma crepe is my favorite, and their Monsieur Blue salad is a great way to start your meal off. The restaurant isn't very large, but it is quite nice to visit on a sunny weekend day. Highly recommended!

I have to restrain myself to not not go in Bamboo Hardwoods. First, I was going to buy a bamboo bed, then I wanted bamboo flooring, but ultimately ended up purchasing our dining room table from this wonderful store on Roosevelt Way NE.
The store has excellent customer service, and I am considering them to supply my new flooring when I replace the carpet in my house sometime this year.
The table is a solid product, beautiful to look at, and we've had no problems with this local neighborhood establishment.

This little gem of a restaurant is tucked away near the corner of NE 65th Street and Roosevelt Way. This family owned and operated Indian restaurant seems to specialize in prompt, courteous and extremely polite service.
The first time I visited the Bengal Tiger, they offered us free samosas, and I think I've ordered them every time I've returned. Their selection of vegetarian dishes is well received by my mostly-vegetarian family, and there is always something to please everyone from their menu.

Top Pot definitely provides a substantial product, but I've been dissappointed with the amount of grease when I bite into them. Don't get me wrong, they're quite tasty but I wouldn't go eating more than one per sitting.
It still seems difficult to get a really good doughnut without driving across the border!
