It will have to cracking up as Andrea goes through her days trying to win the approval of her boss. You will share in her frustration. What an addicting book. I picked this one up on my honeymoon in the South Pacific and this was the perfect beach read. I couldn’t put it down. You will find yourself adoring Rachel and despising Darcy. It is unpredictable and hilarious. It is a story of friendship and love that will have you running out to buy the sequel just so you can get more.

Powerful. I read this book about three years ago and still can’t get it out of my head. Women everywhere should read this book. It is incredible brave biography recounting the author’s rape in college. Though it is scary for a woman to read it is also a very important book. The statistics dictate that most women will either be raped or have a friend who is raped. This book honestly confronts rape and its after effects on a victim.

This book couldn’t hold my attention. I spent the first half of the book trying to get into the story. By the end I felt like I still didn’t understand the main character, Isabel. I found the story a bit shallow and lacking in the emotions I expected to find, especially since the story revolves around divorce, affairs and the relationship between two sisters. I kept waiting for the author to reveal more.

Pretty typical bowling alley in Everett. Located one block off Evergreen Way for as long as I can remember. Games are pretty inexpensive, beer and food is also cheap. The staff is typically pretty nice. Be sure to call well in advance to reserve a lane on a weekend night, they always fill up. Though I have never participated the moonlight bowling here is very popular as well.

Wonderful custom made and locally designed wedding gowns. They also have tons of special occasion dresses that would be perfect for the mother of the bride, bridesmaids or any special occasion. The shop is owned by two women who design and make all the dresses. This was the first place I tried on wedding gowns and it was so much different than any other store I visited. Where else can you say “I like the bottom of this dress, and the top of this dress, but without this and maybe add a little of this” and they respond with “okay, no problem”?! I didn’t ultimately buy my dress here; however I would recommend a visit to this store for any bride to be!

It was here that I finally found my bridal gown. What a fabulous store! They have gorgeous dresses in all price ranges. Their changing rooms are great, with room for your whole bridal entourage to accompany you! The sales girls that helped me were always friendly and patient (and let me tell you I tried on a lot of dresses before finding the one). The best feature about the whole store is the runway in the center of the store. It allows you to see the dresses from every angle. There is also a webcam above the runway so if you have moms or maids out of town they can see you online in your gown. I also saw a couple trunk sales when I went to this store. So be sure to check the website for upcoming sales.

Loved this store and wish I had visited sooner. I am in the final stages of planning my wedding and was looking for shoes, hair pins and possibly a veil. When I wandered in this store I was greeted and I told them I was looking for a veil. They said that their designer could custom make one but when I told them the price I saw for what I was looking for on the internet the sales girl told me it was a good price and she would stick with that. I love honesty! They had lots of accessories and a great selection of bridesmaid and mother of the bride/groom dresses. The prices are pretty typical of the bridal stores, but I found the staff refreshing. It is a cute place right across from Pottery Barn at Bell Square. Be forewarned the shop is hidden on the second floor. You have to go through the inside of the building up a couple staircases and down a long hallway. Just follow the signs.

This is the best Jack Johnson CD. I can put this one in and just let it play. These are great songs with a sound that is Hawaii meets folk music. Listening to this CD is an instant mood lifter. I love to put this one in when we have friends over for a BBQ. Everyone always comments on how much they love it.
