i remember coming to skate king as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's. we stop coming after my mom took a hard fall and broke her tail bone. we went a couple years ago for my wife's birthday, it looked like they have not changed the decor at all, straight 70's. there was some diehards, that you could tell go there a lot. some people that used rollerblades, but mostly true rollerskatin. great place to go for some fun and giggles

athletic supply is a good locally owned sporting goods equipment shop in both Redmond and Seattle. It says where the pro's shop, but pro's don't shop they get their stuff for free. I shop there for the softball and baseball equipment, they have good range of product. Little pricey, but thats what you get for the selection. They also do custom uniforms for your team. I have used them various times to do my shirts for my softball team. Most of their staff is very knowledgable.

The emp is quite ugly from the outside, its supposed to be a bunch of cut up guitars. I just don't see it. Built by paul allen this is his music present to the city of seattle. The museum has lots of music memorbilia, and the head sets give you a great narrative as you walk through the rock and roll items. They have an area where you can try instruments and record. They also have a good cafe and incredible stage to hear concerts. I would recommend you go at least once.

It was hard losing mr sonic nate mcmillian left for portland, but still things look up for the sonics. We still have our core players of Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Luke Ridnour, and Nick Collison. So we should be just as good this year. The stadium, I believe needs to be updated, but it probably will be impossible to do without help from the city etc. But the owners should have known this before they bought the team.

Qwest field is great stadium, that has great vantage points thoughout the stadium to watch the games. The Seahawks have cheap seats on either end of the endzones and also in the hawks nest. The middle section seats are spendy. First stadium I have seen with suites on playing field level. Hopefully the team will make the playoffs again, I think it all rides on what the defense does.

safeco field is amazing stadium, there are no bad seats in the stadium. Take advantage and walk around the stadium and take in the game from different vantage points. Center field bar area by the bullpens is always fun. If you have the chance to get diamond club seats, go for it, free food and alcohol etc. There is a childrens playarea on the second deck in center field. Stadium is awesome, but the team sucks right now.

My wife loves to go there and pick out funny cards and cute wrapping paper. It truly is a total chicks dream card shop. I like it because they have cards that make fun of dubya. They are located across the street from elliot bay book store.

I enjoy going down there and just looking around and feeling like I am young again. Great place to grab a gift. If you are tired of shopping at walmart, toys r us, target for toys, than Magic Mouse is the place for you. I reccomend!!!

Woodland park zoo is a perfect place to bring any kid of any age. There is a lot of walking so best to bring a stroller to cart around the kids that get tired. There is a ton of animals. Our favorite is the monkeys, last time we went we had the luck to see the monkeys being fed. The staff hid all the food all over their cages and then let the monkeys in to try to find it. Seattle is lucky to have a good zoo and aquarium.
