Since its remodel and move to the other side of Harvard Square, this travel bookstore seems to have shrunk in size. The store is arranged by country/continent and contains a middling collection of maps as well. This store carries books about a country that are not guide books as well. Staff here is still helpful and encourages browsing. The store feels very airy now that it is housed in a glass encased box like structure. There is a discount card for frequent buyers which gives you a percentage discount after you spend a certain amount of money. Overall not the best travel bookstore I have been in but very good nonetheless.

This travel store is one of the best I have seen in the country. They have a great selection and an engaged helpful staff. One third of the store is devoted to travel accessories, travel purses, and luggage/backpacks. I have been looking for a travel purse for a long time and store has the best selection I have seen yet. The rest of the store is made up of books and maps. Wide World carries all the usual travel series as well as a few I haven't seen elsewhere. They also have a wide selection of travel journals and they even sell Christmas ornaments with an international flair. This store has great sales throughout the year and is always my first stop when I need to buy something for a trip.

This may not be the most authentic place to go for Mexican, (it is more tex-mex) but what they serve tastes very good regardless. I have been informed by an expert in these matters though that the pork dishes here are the best to be had in the city. The nachos and salsa are also quite good. Mama's has a somewhat raucous atmosphere which is enhanced during the summer by those drinking out on the patio. Happy hour is indeed very happ here with a long drink list that includes an entire section devoted to tequila. Also, there is a vegetarian section on the menu and overall, prices are reasonable. So next time you are in Belltown, stop by Mama's-you won't be sorry.

The all encompassing mega movie theater experience has seemly taken over America. Here in Seattle we are blessed to have not one or two but over six movie theaters that show a plethora of movies from all over the world. The Neptune theater is one of many that makes this one of the best cities in the country to watch a movie. While The Neptune is slightly rundown, the snack food and popcorn are very good and the staff is helpful. The Neptune is a historical building as well so when you go inside be sure to check out the decor.

This is yet another great place to watch a movie in Seattle. I have lived in many cities around the world, and Seattle is truly one of the better places to catch a movie. This is because of places like the Guild 45th. First off, they have an eclectic selection of movies to watch. Second, the popcorn is good;this is very important-never mind the price. Third, seating is comfortable and plentiful. Overall, if you include the Landmark movie theater deal which allows you to purchase ticket packages in advance at a discount, this is a great theater to catch a show.

The title of this review pretty much states all you need to know about this little movie house in north Seattle. The Crest plays movies that have been out for a couple of months for three dollars a person. Another plus is that the popcorn here is very good. Granted the movie houses for each screen are a little small but screen size isn't everything. The only other drawback is the drive. The Crest is way out there on the border with Shoreline.

The Metro has nine movie houses and many small screens. This is okay for most of the movies screened at the Metro but I wouldn't watch a movie like Star Wars here. About half of the selection are movies that you wouldn't be able to watch in the suburbs the other half the usual Hollywood junk. The Metro is one of a handful of art house theaters in Seattle. As such, you can purchase a block of five tickets for six dollars a person instead of the usual nine. The concession stand sells decent popcorn and also sells Uncle Seth's pink cookies.

Movie watching at the Kendall Square movie theater is a great experience. Gourmet food is available in the lobby and the popcorn seems to also strive, and almost succeed!, in reaching the same high standards. Most of the movies that play here are art house movies that are hard to find elsewhere. Unfortunately, movies here are just as expensive as any other first run theater (about ten per person). The other problem is that it is quite a walk from the T if you are using public transportation-much of it in a fairly deserted area of Cambridge. There is a shuttle that
will take you there but its schedule doesn't seem to be followed. Overall, a great place to catch a movie in the Boston area.

The Brattle has a legendary reputation in the Boston area for good reason. Their selection of movies always contains at least one movie that you want to watch that week and the popcorn is darn good. The seats are pretty comfortable and the ambiance is conducive to putting one in the right frame of mind to watch a good movie. The selection usually changes on a daily basis. Put all of these elements together and you have a old fashioned movie house that I hope will never disappear or change.

Beautifully designed, this small museum on the Harvard campus is worth the price of admission (it is free for Harvard students). The focus here is on western art from the fourteenth century to the present. There is also a nice museum store. The second floor houses more contemporary art.
This is a great place for and wedding or private party if you. can afford it
