I have often shopped at the David M Brian gift store. It is a comparatively large gifts store selling a large variety of gifts merchandise from silverware to figurines, to decorative accessories. I usually go here when I can't think of anything to buy as a gift and the regular departments stores just don't do it for me. I usually come out with something in my hand.

I was looking for a flapper costume for a Halloween party I was going to go to and I heard that this place carries vintage clothing specifically for that period of time. It's located in a unusual place located among the tatoo parlors on Haight street. Inside they have a large selection of clothing and accessories from this time period however their prices were expensive. I decided to go somewhere else.

Mollie Stone's is a nice grocery store similar in size to the Albertson's stores and Safeway stores. It is located close to the freeway and they also have a large parking lot. The place is alway bright and clean and the staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful. They never fail to ask if I need assistant with my grocery bags.

The Exploratorium is such a beautiful place to see and explore. The grounds itself is beautiful although I don't much like the wire fence they have now put around the pond. There are always ducks swimming there. The Exploratorium itself is a really neat place. They have an admission fee but is well worth the price. Inside are really neat sciense exhibits. It is just a fun place to explore.

The Wax Museum is located near Pier 39. It's hard to miss the building because it looks like an old movie theater. It is really a neat place to see. The wax replicas of famous people were really remarkable and so life like. The only negative is that there is no free parking available unless you park several blocks away from the main shopping area. Also the Medieval Dungeon was too scary for the kids.

I just love the Palace of the Legion of Honor. Not only are the works of art exhibits within beatiful, but the building itself is also architecturally beautiful. It is also located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Golden Gate bridge. We visit the musuem of a Tuesday because the admission is free on any Tuesday. There is parking available for free also in front of the museum.

Mackerel Jack's is one of the little shops located in Cannery Row. They sell quite a large selection of souvenir's of Monterey as well as little gifts items, clothing and even jewelry. We had fun just browsing through the store and looking at this and that. The salespeople were very nice and friendly too.

I love shopping at Les Deux Copines. Their store is attractively decorated, bright and trendy. I feel young again and in style when I wear the clothes that I have bought from their store. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Parking is not a problem either and they are not difficult to find. I go there whenever I want to treat myself to something new.

My family and I have been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium a couple of times now and we still enjoyed ourselves the second time around. They have a large parking garage a few blocks away but they do charge a fee. The aquarium is the largest one that I have seen. They have two floors of sealife aquariums.
