It's just QFC but as far as groceries go, it's a pretty good chain spot. The beauty of it all, the FREE childcare is great! My kids beg to go see "Miss Barbara" and I feel comfortable leaving them in the play area. (And leaving my tots with a child care provider isn't something I do often.) You can shop or grab a coffee in peace while the kids have fun too.

If you're looking for a pumpkin patch that's not too big or too small, this should fit your needs. You get a free ride in a tractor pulled wagon to and from the patch where you pick your loot. They also have a small petting zoo, a corn maze, a maze for the 6 & under crowd and a cannon that shoots pumpkins. You can also purchase farm grown produce and foods such as salsas, olives, dressings and mustards that are made on the farm. To boot, there are munchies (popcorn, chips, hotdogs, corn on the cob) and drinks to eat while you're there. It's a real fun place to enjoy our beautiful fall season.

You might give this grocery a try too.
I don't know if it has what you're looking for but it is full of ethnic food choices. Even if your item is missing, it's a great store to wander around in!

From Noon - 1 p.m., Seattle Gymnastics has an open gym where kids, along with their parents or another adult, can play and utilize all the equipment in the gym. There are students of the academy there to assist and help watch the little balls of fire too.
There are foam pits, trampolines, balance beams (at all heights), parallel bars, swinging ropes, climbing walls and mats galore.
It is heaven for me because my 4 yr. olds run and play like there is no tomorrow AND there is a time limit. None of that "I don't want to go home! I want to stay!" business that I get at the park. "Sorry kids. They're closing. Load em' up!"
If the time frame works for you, I strongly recommend you drop in sometime. It's $6 ($4 if you are enrolled in classes) and you get a time or two free if you buy a punch card.
Good luck!

Unless you're looking for a very specific color or texture, I think the Depot is a fine place to buy wall paint. Glidden is nice, and we've used Behr too. I've not had any need to use any of the higher cost paint (ie: Ralph Lauren) because these brands have always worked well for us and there are always many colors from which to choose.
I am a huge fan of using paint to change a look. Inexpensive and very quick. (I say quick because my husband does all the painting.) If you don't like it - whoopie doo. Drop another $15 and repaint it.

I recommend the Maternal & Infant Care Clinic at the University of Washington. The doctors and staff are absolutely the best in both medical care and support.
My pregnancy was high risk (multiples) and my dr., Thomas Benedetti, and his staff, were with me every step of the way. I was given no nonsense information on how to best take care of myself and my unborn babes through nutrition, exercise and rest. My twins were born at only 32 weeks gestation and both were extremely healthy - neither needing a ventilator. I am convinced that by following the words of my health care providers, they came into this world kicking and screaming. (Unfortunately, 4-1/2 years later, they're still kicking and screaming. Ha Ha!)
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Benedetti and his staff and highly recommend this clinic.
Good luck and Congratulations!

a safe, clean and happy environment, I recommend this Bally location. I've been taking my 4 yr. old twins here for a couple years now and I'm very pleased. There are two rooms, one of which is a mirrored "gym" type room where they can play on mats & run around. The other is a carpeted room w/ all the goodies - toys, puzzles, art supplies, etc. The cost is SO reasonable compared to what I've heard some people pay elsewhere. I get a two child punch card with 20 punches for $80. They are allowed to stay for 2 hrs., so it ends up being $1 per hr. per child.
Having said that, I must also say this; there is a lot of turnover. However, I don't think this is uncommon in the daycare/preschool arena. And on that subject, this is not a preschool setting. If you're looking for classrooms and set schedules, ABCs and 123s, a Pro Club type center would be more to your liking.
It took me a good 2 years to feel comfortable leaving my kids with anyone (including my husband - Ha Ha) and this place made the grade. My goal is for my kids to be safe and have fun while I'm working out (school will come soon enough) and Bally's has been just great.
Good luck!
