Precious Memories has taken on new life with the change in ownership. It is tarred by its past reputation of poor service with old supplies. The new owners have spruced the place up and you can really tell they care about the art of preserving your memories.
It is located in a strip mall on the main street in Woodinville, but its not very busy. The shelves are filled with paper and embellishments. They do have a large selection of stickers. The owner is very open to new ideas and product requests.
A diecut machine is available for use for a small charge. The staff is very helpful and doesn't seem to mind helping you find just the right paper or offering advice for your layout. This store would be perfect for the new scrapper.
The crop area is fantastic- plenty of room. Check out their monthly schedule for classes and crops.

This place is right next to Molbak in Woodinville. The fertilizers and soil amendments it carries are much cheaper than those sold in Molbak (when you are not using a EClub coupon). For example, a 50 pound kelp powder sells for only $33. The Kellogg brand soil conditioner is also cheaper here. When I purchase plants in Molbak I often tend to stock up some fertilizers in this place.

Boards and Bits is a boardgame store located just to outside Seattle in Woodinville. They specialize in "German-style" boardgames and can put their hands on a hard-to-find copy of an out of print game for their customers. If you don't care to go pick up your order, they will ship within the Seattle area for a flat rate of only $6.00 overnight! With the current gas prices, that's looking even better.. :-P
The proprietor, Tom, is a good guy and goes out of his way to help his customers.

Not only does Barnes and Noble have a Starbucks inside where you can sit and thumb through books as you sip your latte, they have some great sales. The parking at the Woodinville store is a challenge at times, but it is still one of our favorite stores to go to. Who said computers will killed the book stores?

I just don't know what it is about the Radio Shack in Woodinville. we go in we come out somehow upset. It is either the lack of customer service, or the lack of knowledge of the salespeople who seem to go out of their way to make you feel like you don't know what you're taking about. This infuriates my husband to no end.

The play area is very small, dogs are cramped and clearly not supervised with care. Old dogs appeared stressed and employee was clueless as to the levels of stress some of the dogs were presenting.
They will not offer a tour, it's all window dressing and behind the scenes is almost secret. I would not board my dog anywhere that would not allow me to tour, anytime, not just designated hour of a day. Which I don't believe that is even offered.

Unlike its competitor, Staples, Office Max is not too with rebates. We have a hard time getting them to deal with processing them in a timely fashion. The service is not too bad, but I'd think twice about going there just for a rebate. Prices are normally high, however, at times the adds do have some good sales in them.

We had a snowboard waxed there. The kid who helped me did it really fast. When we headed to the slopes the next weekend, the board was catching on the edges. We went into the shop at the resort and they said there wasn't enough wax on the board. They waxed it again, charged us $18 and we were back on the slopes. The board worked perfectly after that. I don't enjoy paying for a service twice. I would not recommend them for tuning services.

However, the shoes, although supposedly discounted, are still rather pricey. Easy to find equivalent or better deals elsewhere.
