My husband and I joined the Gold Creek Tennis & Sports Club two months ago, and we can't say enough good things about it. The club offers a variety of sports activities, including swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis, racquetball, cardio machines, weight room, golf, etc. There's also a good range of classes such as aerobics, yoga, swimming and cycling. They offer different levels of membership, and the joining fee is reasonable.
Even during peak hours, we have never have a problem getting a court or finding a machine; it doesn't feel crowded. Some of the equipment and facilities are somewhat outdated, but everything is in good working order. It's a comfortable place to work out and enjoy oneself. As a general rule, I don't like exercising, but I actually look forward to going to Gold Creek.
I do wish the club had a cafe with light fare and refreshments (i.e. smoothies, sports drinks). Unfortunately, the current zoning prohibits it.

This place is great! My kids loved the combination classes and the instructors really know how to connect with their students. Most of the teachers here have Bachelor's Degrees in dance and are currently performing in companies. The family friendly atmosphere (they watch the lyrics with the hip hop songs) was refreshing. I'd definately recommed this studio!

Turning Pointe has some good facilities for a dance studio. (There can be much worse!). The place is clean and there is some seating for parents. The teachers are professional and good with the kids. Good variety of classes and competition teams. The worse part of the studio, when my daughter was there, was the end of year recital in Everett. This is a difficult location to get to, particularly with dress rehearsal being held during the worst traffic rush hours. Definitely a big headache and contributed to our finding another dance studio despite the good teachers.

They do have twelve screens and carry the latest movies. However, every time I go it has been VERY dirty with lots of paper trash and popcorn in the lobby, a candy counter so dirty that I would not go near, and trashed auditoriums. Too bad because the seating is good, but smelly and trashy and sticky and dirty is just hard to ignore. I have taken Boy Scouts tent camping so I am not a really picky kind of person, just don't like what I see there since other theaters are not as bad. Staff has a don't care attitude when you complain.

Left Foot Swing is the perfect school to learn a little swing, waltz, or salsa. They offer classes primarily at the Hollywood Schoolhouse but you can also catch them at the Bothell Sons of Norway Hall and other locations. Matt and Jodi are fun and patient instructors. Being totally incapable of any sense of dance, I was able to test their patience (and that of my wife) at length. Classes are short and typically with a large enough group of students to guarantee a little anonymity for the balance challenged.
