The country's most expensive baseball park, this gorgeous open air stadium with a retractable roof, exemplifies the trend over the last decade for modern but traditional ball parks. Outfield seats can be a bargain, but if the Mariners aren't in town -- or even if they are -- take the stadium tour, which will take you to about every nook in the place except the grass itself.

safeco field is amazing stadium, there are no bad seats in the stadium. Take advantage and walk around the stadium and take in the game from different vantage points. Center field bar area by the bullpens is always fun. If you have the chance to get diamond club seats, go for it, free food and alcohol etc. There is a childrens playarea on the second deck in center field. Stadium is awesome, but the team sucks right now.

Long live King Felix! I knew before the year began that we wouldn't be all that great next year, but the team is finally making the move that should have been done two years ago. Out with the old, in with the new. With Felix Hernandez, Jeremy Reed, Adrien Beltre, Richie Sexson, and hopefully Bucky, we will be a team to reckon with in 2007. Go M's!

This is an update to this from earlier this year: the M's are terrible, terrible, terrible. Look for improvement next year only on the basis that they surely couldn't become a worse team. Could they?
The M's used to be a hot ticket, but they've cooled considerably. The ballpark is inviting, but prices are sky-high and management isn't putting any of that money back into the team (read: lining their pockets). The team is average and not terribly exciting to watch due to the age of the team. It's an OK time, but temper your enthusiasm for good baseball.
