No, it's not that there is some bizarre exclusivity to it but rather that it sits next to where I get my hair cut by Katie Buter of Illustrated Hair in the Greenlake area. Usually I get my hair cut in the morning so I can have the benefit of gorgeous hair all day but Katie couldn't get me in till an afternoon appointment this week and OH am I happy! Usually Shoefly is closed in the earlier morning hours so I just drool over what I see in the window. Last night I went in and spent 40 minutes perusing the lovely shoes on display. A nice assortment of interesting and funky shoes of all types: flats, casual, sporty, boots, dressy, dressy-casual, you name it! What I loved the most is that they have styles that are much like the ones I see in Europe. Hip and edgy could be used to describe the majority of styles but there are some more conservative choices there as well. I was able to pick up a gorgeous pair of open toed red heels that were perfect to wear with my "Marilyn" dress and I also picked up a pair of wedges that are perfect for both work and casual wear. Locations are in Seattle, Bellevue, and now Portland too. There is also a website and I've put the link in above. Right now there is a sale going on where you get 1 pair at regular price and the second pair is HALF OFF! Go - Now - Shoefly!

I love Shoefly. I used to work upstairs above their Greenlake location, and picked up many a cute pair of shoes on my lunch hour. They carry brands that range from super chic (Charles David) to comfortable and downright unique (Royal Elastics). I never paid full price for a pair of shoes there... their sales are too good to pass up!

What can make a gal happier than a fabulous new pair of shoes? Shoefly offers one of the most well-rounded collections of shoes in the Seattle area, and not any more expensive than you will find at Nordstrom. I love how you can browse the styles, then go to the "stacks" of boxes and try on your size. Kenneth Cole Reaction is one brand that they offer that is both affordable and trend-forward, and although they didn't have my size in a style I wanted at the Greenlake store, they had it in Bellevue and had it transferred to Greenlake at no cost to me. Also, I love their punchcard - it rewards you with a discount after you've spent a certain amount. Helpful staff and fun environment.

Shoefly carries shoes in many hues but the lighter side of the color palette is well represented here. The selection leans more towards heels than functional though they recently started carrying the Camper line. The shoe brands carried range from Franco Sarto to Bettye Muller. They also carry handbags and wallets from a number of different European and American designers. They have two locations in the greater Seattle area and website you can visit as well.

Shoefly (both in Greenlake and in the Bellevue Square Mall) has a great selection of very cute, unique shoes. They have shoes for all occassions -- work shoes, casual shoes, party shoes, etc. The prices are a little high but it's worth it for that one perfect pair of shoes. They have several lines that come in from Italy and are amazing quality. They also have a good selection of handbags. Go at the end of a season for good deals.

This is a great place to shop. They have really cute shoes and a nice selection. Additionally, the location is great and scenic. The one drawback is that these are higher end shoes, so I recommend waiting for the sale - then the place is perfect! If nothing else, this is a fun place to browse and pick out shoes to wait to go on sale.
