Game Wizard is in Ballard and quite a distance from my home, but I go up there every now and then just to keep in touch. Game Wizard is a local center for the gaming community. The store is small, but jam packed with stuff, and they have a space for gaming next door. There's also good greasy food available down the street and parking never seems to be a problem.

You know a toy store is doing something right when adults as well as children want to shop there. Such is the case at Magic Mouse. The top floor is home to expensive stuffed animals and other assorted small toys. The basement contains sale items, whole room dedicated to puzzles, and books. They also sell some politically motivated "toys" here for adults. Customer service is unobtrusive yet helpful and prices are average.

Although the manager likes to interupt the hall with overly loud annoucements during the game with what one may call a "bad attitude", that i believe could wait till intermission, the hired staff itself can be Smug to newbies while they dote on the regulars. They do have seating area outside for smokers with a loud speaker so you can still play if you need to smoke before the break! Which brings me to the multi intemissions for smokers, a normal 3 hour game session turns into a 4 hour because of this. Pull tabs..... the ladies that run the tabs are in general polite, but could speed it up a little ok ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest rooms. Absolutly GROSS!!!!! With the money this place brings in they could at least fix the toilets which have signs that ask the person using it to hold the handle until it flushes, thats just lazy & rude! If you are one that is annoid easily or has a lack of patience like myself, then is NOT the hall To choose!

I'm not a smoker, but I came in here looking for a gift for a friend for his birthday. They have some quality smoking ingredients here, as well as fancy (but expensive) accessories. Some lighters would have been a good gift, minus the 30 dollar pricetag. The atmosphere was not my style. The staff seemed a bit shady, and the people hanging around outside didn't seem to be smoking the normal kind of tobacco. This store makes the entire block look much worse.

More
I have visited this store in downtown Seattle twice now to sell a couple of small sterling silver candy dishes. One of my co-workers recommended the store to me as one that has been in Seattle for a long time and that has a good reputation. As its name implies, this store specializes in rare and collectible coins and currency. However, they also offer sterling silver and gold jewelry, including jewelry set with precious and semi-precious stones. They actually have a rather large and good jewelry selection. They also sell small collectibles and small vintage and antique items such as vintage costume jewelry and accessories. Both my visits to this store were very satisfying. The owner/staff are polite, professional, very friendly and a good source of information on what they offer. If you have jewelry, coins or certain kinds of collectibles you would like to sell, I would certainly recommend them. If you are looking for gold or silver jewelry, I suggest you visit their store before you head to one of the large department stores or jewelry stores. You may find what you’re looking for at a price below the retail price you would pay at a major store.

I've been to a number of tobaccanist's in Seattle and elsewhere, but none of them were as large as Piece of Mind. The store is huge, and all four walls have large glass cases filled with blown glass pipes. The staff is very helpful, and the prices are reasonable, with frequent sales. They also sell assorted paraphenalia, clothing and shoes. It's worth the drive even if you don't live near Fremont, for quality glassware or hookahs.
