Pabla is a great vegetarian oasis in a sea of strip malls! It's located across from the big Fred Meyer in Renton and serves an entirely veggie menu. It's a branch of the Pabla located in downtown Seattle. Their buffet lunch is awesome and always includes yummy desserts for your sweet tooth. If you are going for dinner, the food is high quality and the servings are large. There is also an Indian grocery store convieniently located right next door.

Jimmy Mac's is one of our favorite south end places to eat. It's got kind of an urban cowboy look and feel and if you are foolish enough to let them know it's your birthday; they'll sing some insulting song (where they compare you to a pig) in your honor. Not sure I get the whole peanut shells on the floor thing; except that seems to be a common feature in some country bars. Fun place to take the family or a date if you’re not counting on quiet intimacy

If you are looing for some authentic non-cantonese Chinese cusicine, you should definitely try Yea's Wok. This place is always quite busy and especially on the weekends. So make sure to make reservations if you don't want to wait too long. It specialize in Manderin, Sizhuan style of food. So you will find the menu looks quite different from many other cantonese-oriented restaurants. But give it a try and you will like it!

We live right near Tapatio, and go there often. The food is hearty, the staff is always friendly, and they treat you right. One time when we ordered takeout (which we do frequently) they messed up the order. When we called to report it, they made us a new meal, no questions asked, and also gave us a gift certificate as an apology. That may seem like a little thing, but I've been to plenty of places that treat you like you did something wrong: you have to bring back the other meal to prove that they really messed up the order.

This is amazing thai food! We are thai lovers and are always happy with the food and service at Royal Orchid. The restaurant is very nice and there is ample parking. Staff are always polite and prompt. You have to try the panang curry! You can eat here for the same amount you'd pay at some chain family restaurant.

We love taking the family to Chang's. The con to this place is that the line up for the grill can be quite long at times. This is a challenge for impatient toddlers like mine! But it is nice to choose your own ingredients for your stir fry. The meal includes soup and ice cream. The grill is all you can eat.

We live close to this restaurant and enjoy going here for our pho. The owners are really nice people, lots of parking and the food is very good. The portions are generous and you can get small or large sizes. I like their egg rolls too! There is never a wait at this place but locals do frequent here often.

The staff here are wonderful and make the eating experience here very nice. They greet you in Spanish and make suggestions for drinks to go with your meal. Parking is ample. There is never a wait. They have a buffet on the weekends that we have been meaning to try. The food is always fast to arrive, made fresh and very tasty. Give it a try!

I have really enjoyed Emerald city smoothies. I usually go here for lunch and pick one up. It's nice because they do offer a student discount of a couple bucks. I like a lot of the flavors and protein or nutritiuon supplements to put in which is really nice. I love emerald city smoothies!!

I recently stopped in here to get a pizza to-go. I thought the pizza was good, but I still prefer Amante's (see my other review). What I really appreciated was that they offered to bring my pizza out to my car for me, which was nice because I was already holding my kid. The restaurant was crowded but I suppose that's a good sign. I'll definitely be back to try out some of their pasta dishes...
