I love dogs dearly but don't have one of my own. But that fact doesn't stop me from walking through the dog park at Marymoor. I enjoy watching all the dogs play and scamper about while walking along the trails. I have yet to visit a nicer dog park.

Grass Lawn is a great community park. There are two parking lots, one is off Old Redmond Road, and the other is on the Northeast corner of the Park off 148th. Grass Lawn has a great play area that has recently been revamped that accommodates family with children. There is also an area to play basketball. The park has paved pathways meandering around the property and dirt paths through a wooded area. There is a large covered area for picnic events and there are small picnic tables scattered around the open area.
It accommodates tennis players, softball games and soccer games. All with lights for evening play. The soccer field and one of the softball fields is a new artificial turf field. The city of Redmond has been working hard to make this park a nice location. They have solved some drainage issues in some of the grassy areas and upgraded to turf on two of the fields.
The only con is that the open grass area is sometimes occupied by groups of people playing informal soccer games. This activity has chewed up the grass in this area. This lumpy grass makes activities such as Frisbee or catch more challenging.
