In the old days, i.e. pre-Amazon, Half Price Books was a good deal. But in today's day and age, I'd rather stay at home and buy online. This bookstore is cluttered and it's hard to find anything. The prices aren't that great since you can always get exactly what you want from an online seller, with free shipping or whatever coupon or promotion they have going on. And, it takes far less time to find the book also!

This church is so dynamic, so big, and so impressive, that you can’t help but be in awe when you look at all the events, outreach, and caring ministries that this church serves up to its members, the community, and the entire country.

Borders in Redmond Town Center is a good place to pick up just about anything literary you may need.
They have, of course, a wide variety of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, but they also carry a good selection of small gifts (think bookmarks, jewelry, & chocolates), calendars, and maps.
Their children's section at this particular store is quite good, and their weekly, free story times for kids are fun to take your little ones to. (Check the store calendar for times. They do change from time to time.)
The folks who work the information desk at this store are always friendly and quite helpful and have been known to walk customers to whatever they may be looking for.
There are also several places to sit and read, and a coffee bar as well. Overall, a very nice place to spend a couple hours.

Bergman Luggage is a great place to go to get a good solid suit case to last you a lifetime. I purchase a few pieces of luggage there with the help of a very friendly and knowledgeable sales guy. He worked hard to show me the differences between lines. I picked a line that has a lifetime warranty and is versatile to accommodate my dress clothes as well as a cozy pair of sweats and tennis shoes.
