Don's carpet cleaning is a very good company; our family has been using them for the last few years to clean our house and our rental properties. They are easy to schedule and are very friendly. They come out and get the job done. They use a truck mount system that works better because there vacuum has a stronger power to pull all the moisture back out of the carpet. The carpets are always clean and they take the time to make sure all of the spots have been removed. There prices are extremely reasonable and lower then many other companies around town.

I was amazed when I walked into this store and saw all the beautiful work done by the owner. Her shadowboxes are simply exquisitive.
I know the owner to be community involved and she has a passion for her craft and business. It's fun talking with her. 10+ years in business!
Located on the Port Orchard waterfront area, the parking may be a bit difficult. The store interior is pleasant.
Prices are reasonable for a small locally owned business.

Here is another old locally-owned business going to the wayside. It is being torn down. There is always such a nice variety of animal care products here, it's fun to just go in and check it out. The staff are always helpful, friendly, and enjoy chatting about both the industry and area. I like the exterior red barn look, myself.

It is affilitaed with Ace Hardware stores.This means that the national sales that are avertised can be purchased here.The local owners make sure that they have a little bit of everything that you may need to start a new home project or to do a fix it job. Besides just home improvement type of material it also has seasonal items such as plant and flowers for the spring and summer, Holloween and Christmas decorations for the holiday times as an example. I have also found many small appliances and houseware items to have comparable prices to retail discount stores. When you have a house or garden need check out this store.

Wait until later in the year to go here if you are looking for fresh produce. I made the mistake of going opening weekend excited about getting fresh produce. There were no farmers nor produce at the market, just craftspeople. Bummed me right out.
Location is on the waterfront. Atmosphere is bustling. Parking is a pain in the patoot.
