If you really want a cheap ride to Boston for 10 bucks you should buy your ticket at fung wah bus. it's the same as riding grey hound, and there is probably less of a chance that they will be a delay unalike greyhound. however, it comes to the point of whether you're willing to risk the fact that these buses aren't known for their safety. it is well known that these buses are not well know for their fire safety. however, i have taken these buses often for cheap rides to boston, and they are pretty dependable.

This is one of the places where you can BBQ right at your table. Dishes for the BBQ come with free appetizers. The number of appetizers depend on how many dishes you order. The meat comes out raw and you use tongs to put the meat on the grill and cook it. Vegetables, beef, chicken, and seafood are offered to BBQ. Beware that if you BBQ at your table your clothes absorb the smell of the food and smell like BBQ for a few days. If you do not like to BBQ at your table, then regular dishes (those cooked in the kitchen) are also offered. Décor is very nice (waterfall, tables, seats). On certain days a musician plays Korean music. Prices are high, so it’s only good to go to once in awhile.

this place is a wonderful, cozy diner in the upper east side. they serve a huge variety of foods: from sandwiches to burgers to dinner entrees like chicken parmesan. they also serve great seafood: salmon, shrimp dishes. one of the best things about this place is that they give you a huge quantity, so you will definitely have left overs. their dinner specials include:, soup, salad, entree, and dessert.
the atmosphere is pretty nice. the waiting staff is really wonderful. overall, a great place to eat and bring home good leftovers.

More
this place capitalizes on the fact that there isn't much competition in manhattan for household goods (although now that there's a bed bath and beyond a couple of blocks away maybe that will change) by trippling or even quadroupling the prices for everything it carried. ridiculously cramped little aisles, limited (at best) selection, and totally obnoxious salespeople (although that might be par for the new york course).

More
Burger Joint, buried behind a curtain in the back of the lobby of the Parker Meridien Hotel (but smellable throughout the first floor), used to be a great place to get a quick, simple meal well done. However, too much hype has made the place simply impossible to patronize any further. Show up any time you want--you won't wait less than a full 20 minutes to get your food (a good rule of thumb is, if the line is inside the door, you *might* consider waiting it out). Plus, they have raised their prices at least 30% since I first went there--what was once a $7.50 meal of a burger, fries and a drink will now run you at least $12. And hey, it's just a friggin' burger. Go up the street toward 7th to the Teleon Deli and get essentially the same thing in half the time for less money.

This ain't no taqueria baby! Maya is delicious, beautifully presented, high end Mexican food. But you do pay for the taste sensations. Expect to spend $35-40 person before drinks.
A little out of our normal budget range, but when my parents are in town...
One other potential upside or downside to mention (depending on your perspective): it's a loud and singles feeling environment. But then again, so is much of New York.

For us, J.G. Melon is the embodiment of the classic Yogi Berra line: it's so popular, no one goes there anymore.
We have tried to go to J.G. Melon's at least five times. We have only succeeded once (an early lunch), since every other time we tried we were confronted by at least an hour wait.
But we did have great burgers the time we went. Good prices too.

More
If ever there could be the worst possible shopping experience ever-it would most certainly be at Century 21. My finance & I visited Century 21 about six months ago and were extremely disappointed by the absurdity of the customer service (if you could call it that), crowds and unruly organization of the store.
I've gone to Century 21 on what I would consider "off peak" hours only to find that there doesn't seem to be such a thing here.
That said, it's a lot of fun to shop here if crowds don't bother you. Some real bargains can be found. My favorite departments are shoes and handbags ... which can also be the most hectic.
..A store you have to frequent often to catch a STEAL! Go on off hours to avoid waits and crowds. Merchandise is always updated - so don't despair! Go to your favorite boutique and then stop by Century 21 to get it cheaper and with no nagging salespeople! Warning: the staff is surly and the patrons are nasty -- good luck!

More
This is a fairly upscale music program for infants and toddlers. The unique thing about this program is that the children are able to participate by playing various child sized instruments. The kids are just banging on the instruments but they love having different instruments to play with throughout the class. The time they have with each instrument is short but at this age, the children don't have much of an attention span anyway. The instruments are kept clean and the studio is decorated in primary colors which the kids like. They also offer an arts program for toddlers.
