Sunshine freestyle sports is an alternative sports shop located in monterey. They sell surf boards, skate boards and snow boards. They also carry a wide selection of clothes for men and women. It is one of the bigger surf shops that I have been to. I recently bought a new snow board from sunshine sports. During the summer they have sales on all the winter gear and in the winter they have sales on all the summer sports. They have resonable prices compare to other shops in the monterey area. Check out sunshine sports.

This store is nice stop for your running needs in the Monterey area. It is really improving every day. They stock all sorts of running supplies - from gels and GU (including those elusive Clif Shot Blox) to shorts and shoes and even moisture wicking sports bras. The new owners are always in the shop when I stop by, and they always seem to remember me and what I like to buy each time I come in. They really listen to their customers, too. I told them about my interest in trying some running skirts, and now they are ordered and I'm told they will be in stock by the end of the month! One of my favorite perks of the store is their customer rewards program - for every $250 you spend, you get $25 of store credit - not a discount, but an actual credit that you can use for anything. $250 may seem like a lot if you aren't a runner, but if you are, you know how one new pair of shoes and a few shirts and pairs of shorts can put you right up there! This store is small compared with some other Fleet Feet locations, but the staff more than make up for the lack of size with their knowledge and friendly, accomodating attitude!
