...but not mine. I think we've probably ordered take out from Johnny's Wok a million times. Make that 10 million. The food is run of the mill American-Chinese food, but the people there are very friendly. I like the "Moo Shu Shrimp," but I'm not a fan of the "Happy Family" (which is Chinese takeout speak for "yesterday's leftovers")

MMM, we love the food at Cafe India. If you're looking for a place for lunch, be sure to stop by the lunch buffet. The buffet includes about 8 hot dishes, most of which are vegetarian (about 3 are usually chicken or other meats). The dishes vary by day, but usually include a tandoori chicken, a chicken with sauce dish (e.g., chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, etc.), vegetable dishes, and 2 desserts. Saag Paneer (spinach with cheese) is often a highlight of the buffet for us. Ordering off the menu is also a tasty experience. We especially love the Navrattan Korma. The atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly and the food is fabulous.
Edited: Not sure if the cooks have changed, but our last visit was nothing like that described above. The food was nothing special. Hopefully, this was a one time anamoly.

When I'm feeling like being really "bad" - I head to red Robin for a "Bleu Ribbon Burger" and bottomless steak fries. Yum, *oink*, yum. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal at the Red Robin - you go here because you know what to expect and you know what you want. When you're in the mood for a good burger, Red Robin is a good choice.

My Chicken and Noodle Pasta was served cold, with cold bread, on a cold plate. I had 4 different waiters, none of whom knew what they were doing. It took a LONG time for the check. Very disappointed.

My wife and I have travelled to India, and we also eat out at Indian restaurants quite frequently, so we consider ourselves to have some level of expertise when it comes to Indian food. When it comes to excellent lunch buffets, we highly recommend Kalia Indian Cuisine. Their Sunday buffet has a variety of excellent dishes, including channa masala, lenti stew, and tasty goat meat. The availability of tasty desserts such as mango custard and the requisite Kheer make a satisfying finish to a great meal. As with most Indian buffets, the price is quite affordable and the service excellent. The added bonus at Kalia is the the tv programmed to Hindi pop videos, transplanting us back to the India we so enjoyed visiting.

Oprah brought the "fame" to Ezells Famous Chicken in her grease days by flying in the Chicken from Seattle to cater her events. One of the only local chicken places I know of, you can order Ezells in original or spicy. Not much of a fried food fan myself, I love Ezells rolls. They are usually served hot and have a hint of sweetness about them. Be aware that there is no seating available at this location - take out only.

Dave's burgers is a tiny shop located in the parking lot of a Lynnwood strip mall (think espresso shack). One can choose from many types of sandwiches and hamburgers as well as french fries, etc. I thought the hamburgers were ok - nothing special and not as good as most other local burger places. The fries were pretty tasteless. They definately needed the ketchup, for which we paid an extra $.05

It's one big burger. Love the burgers at this place, although I'm not really wild about the sweet pickle relish. I kinda go for the tart hamburger dills myself. That aside, it's a good place to go if you've got that burger craving. Definitely something more than a McDs, but not total restaurant feel either. The onion rings are the best though for sure.

To me, I believe that a Mexican, or any other particular restaurant that is there for a culture, should actually express the culture itself, not just the food. When i visited this particular restaurant, my first glance of the inside was strange, even though the specific day was Halloween, there wasn't much culture represented there. I ordered two cheese and beef enchiladas and a tropical drink. The menu seemed to consist of many different Mexican foods which i enjoyed. The food was wonderful and filling. I even had to take some home to finish it later. Overall i would recommend this to those who just want to have a good dinner and not worry about the looks of the place and just the wonder of the food.
