I am extremely picky about my nails. Over the last 10 years, I've tried too many nails salons to count, and had been unsatisfied with them all. Then I found Anna's nails. I have had Anna (the owner) do my nails on occasion, and she's great, but Kelly is my regular girl for over 2 years now. She really is a perfectionist - I've never left their shop with buff marks, cattywampus nails, have had no trouble with "lifting", chipping or breaking. Their salon is up to date on all the correct ways to sanitize (they have an autoclave), and I know for a fact they use the expensive chemicals required by law (a lot of "chop shops" don't). As a bonus, all of them give fantastic pedicures! Prices are extremely competitive. Give them a try - you won't be sorry.

I originally went the Gene Juarez at the Alderwood Mall just before Christmas to get a new style. I asked the receptionist for a stylist that is ok working with someone who isn't into a lot of product and who has a lifestyle in need of a wash n' go do. She assured me she had someone. When I was sat in the chair to start the process, the stylist was listening absently while nodding and looking at people walking by. I asked her to indicate that she understood what I wanted, she did an ok job reiterating Then the cut started, unfortunately after the first cut I was stuck. She hadn't listened and began doing what she wanted and left me with a style and shape that in order to look decent requires product, blow drying and flat ironing. There are other requirements I had that she completely blew off. They then unnecessarily told me that she was not the person they had intended me to see and she was actually a more expensive stylist than I had been quoted. They then quite rudely told me that they weren't going to charge me the higher price and that I was lucky to be getting such a deal. In good customer service this fact would not have been addressed with me as it was their mistake that I need not know about. Charge me the quoted price, eat the difference in private and move on. All in all I was very disappointed that I received such service at such a business.

Service: Poor
What I wanted:
chunky pale blonde highlighted stripes and not as chunky stripes of lowlights of 5 redbrown with a splash of 5n.this, in the front, (crown), and sides of hair.
the rest of my hair I want your everage hightlight lowlight pattern, except the nape to be colored solid with 5rb,5n for added demention/contrast.
Molly very sweet, she had an idea Of wanted because I brought in photos. She gave me the right shade of pale blonde and almost the right lowlight I wanted. The problem was, that the foils were1/2 in. away from scalp; also she could not get the pattern down on the side's. She tried 2x but still the same result, do to that it look like had grown out and was past do for a retouch.
Pam the owner, told me she could work me in but it would not be soon. I waited, and the result was nothing close to what I wanted nor with what I went in with.
What it looked like:
ash black hair contrast, w/ under processed and uneven pattern highlights at the root (orange). red copper in between the rest of hair, because she used a soapcap to try to wash out the black; and blackish pale blonde at the tips. Soapcap by the way is bleach and shampoo, very old school and cheap, fast, damaging way to fix your mistake.
Anyhow, my hair looked terrible, and damaged. I flew to Tx, so my ex hair colorist could fix this. He gave me a mirror to look at the sloppy job in the back between the hair. He gave me that mirror several other times. I paid for color correction $$$$!
Pam never offered me my money back nor did she offer hotoil treatments of anykind. I was there 4hrs, w/ my todlder. I cried there and all the way home. By the way I have had and been blonde for 7+ years.
