The Bebe store in this location is nothing exceptionally different from any other Bebe store but that does not take anything away from the great quality and style fo their clothing! Their shoe selection here is small, but they -always- have plenty of the newest styles in stock. Their salesladies are somewhat cookie-cutter; tall, skinny, long straight hair, slightly vapid. But I don't hold any of that against them. :)

When the things that I find at thrift and vintage stores are being sold for three times the price at a chain store, I can't justify purchasing them. Also, it's become more and more clear to me that you can't really be an edgy hipster if you buy mass-produced clothing...isn't this place sort of a contradiction?

Barbeque King has the best barbeque meats in L.A. We like to get the mixed grill -- ribs, sliced meat, hot dogs, etc. and take it home when we have company. Their prices are pretty reasonable. Their baked beans and potatoe salad are great, too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

All I can say about this place is...wow. I've never been to such a poorly run zoo. The first time I had ever seen the Los Angeles zoo was on TV when a gorilla had gotten loose. That piqued my interest in seeing what is going on over there. Well, it's nothing like the San Diego zoo. It's in a pretty bad area, and the staff there are not very well trained. The only good thing about this place was that it wasn't very busy, but I can see why. I wouldn't trust these people with a stray cat. Avoid this Zoo at all costs. You may think that it is a nice zoo because it is the "official" Los Angeles Zoo, but don't let that trick you.

I love this hollywood car wash. They do a really good job in washing your car. The bad thing about this place is that it can take from 15 to 40 minutes to have your car clean and ready. It usually takes 40 minutes later in the afternoon. I don't mind waiting long because they do an excellent job. They have good specials, I believe that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can get your car wax for $6.95

I love this theater, especially for the very cool sign out in front and the great interior, but I do have to agree with the previous poster that the neighborhood isn’t the best, especially if you’ve got kids going to a show with you. Dirtbags roam Hollywood Blvd at night, so be careful as you exit your otherwise wholesome experience.

The best private school in California having a longstanding rivalry with the public UCLA. Currently home to the best college football team in the country (and obviously best football team of any kind in Los Angeles).
USC is incredibly highly ranked in a variety of programs and highlights Los Angeles' increasing status as a research hub especially in the Western US.
That said, UCLA will take 'em next year. :) See: UCLA Review.

I attended Easter services last year at this church with a friend of mine because he and his girlfriend lived close by. I really liked the interior, and come to think of it, the exterior design as well. Being in a nice church helps the experience, and the pastor’s delivery was very informational and pleasant.

I hate to call them out on it, but $17.95 for a pasta dish that doesn’t blow my mind is kind of a bad deal, right? I love the area it’s in, and the half-outdoor seating area in the back is kind of cool, but it all comes down to price and quality. I’m no food critic, and my dinner was good, but it was a bit bland. Nothing special for close to $20

Don't judge a school by its undergrads, or else you'll think USC is an idiot fraternity of shallow fools. I was at a local gym once wearing my UCLA shorts. I left and didn't notice anything as I drove away. 10 blocks away as I was stopped at a light, another car pulled up next to me. When the light turned green, the car tore away just as the guy inside yelled at me, "USC, m*ther******!"
USC is actually full of great professors, good research, excellent professional schools, and the largest population of international students of any university in the US. The administration does quite a bit to reach out to students from the inner city, and is the largest employer in the area the school is in (South Central LA). For these reasons, USC should be forgiven for the hubris and excess of its undergrads.
