Terrible management -- terrible parking facilities

I strongly do not recommend renting here, as they raise the rates on average of $100 - $150 a month after each year of living there (I am now paying $1,600 a month w/o parking -- and it started at $1,450). Also, the elevators are terrible (never seek the bottom floor, not clean (have seen vomit many times on floor on weekends), and are very slow... take MINUTES to reach the middle floors. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to live near the top. The doorman is polite only when tipped, none of the garage employees can be understood, and their logic for claiming incidents is ridiculous (for instance, you cannot claim damage on your car once you leave the building -- even though the lighting is so poor you cannot see any damage done to your vehicle while inside.
Parties that they thrown for their residents are about as cheap as a high school party (especially considering the amount of money paid per year).
Constant problems with heating and air cooling systems -- odd smells coming from vents in the bathroom. Very old vinyl "tile" in kitchen, old appliances, bathroom looks like it has never been updated.
Hawthorne House's management will also not do anything regarding the parking (they need to hire a different company that accepts responsibility for their actions) -- so again, do NOT rent from this place.
GQ (the manager at GO parking -- which is the company Hawthorne uses) will ruin your car, and make you pay for it. They squeal the tires, shift without applying brakes (automatic transmission failure at 9000 miles), and will dent your bumper and tell you that it is your fault. They also have scratched my car 3 separate times, and will not ever admit fault. They have standard letters that are sent out to customers for any damage that was incurred to your car by them. They can't speak proper English (extremely hard to understand what they are saying), and are very aggressive (behavior-wise) when damage has been made to your car.

This is a newly built building with really spacious apartments and condos. It is right on the cornor of Grand and Orleans, so there is a perfect view from all the apartments. The area is also perfect, not only do you get a great view, you're close to the business district, and, of course, there's lots to do at night. It's a great place for anyone of any age. It is also pretty decently priced with lots of incentives for new buyers or renters. Check it out!

This company is able to understand the concept when someone says "I need this done yesterday" They have the capabilities to do large printing jobs such as magazines (I have asked) and will do small photocopy jobs. (have used them for this.) Their prices are very reasonable and they are very easy to work with. highly recommended

Martinez Press can do all of your printing needs and in lightning amounts of time. We have been ordering our cards and envelopes from this establishment for the past 4 or 5 years. We have never had a problem with the printers and any type of mistakes of any kind. When ordered, expect to have it down within only a couple of days. The pricing of the prints are also extremely reasonable. The person at the front desk will also take their time to help you figure out what is the best layout for what you have to print. They will not just let you order and hope for the best results. They specialize in envelopes, tickets, cards, and other paper printing needs.

I rented an apartment from the owner of Wilcox Company for about a year., She was very helpful and answered all of my requests and complaints with good speed. I ended up needing to get out of my lease sooner than expected and she was more than willing to help me out. Joan was a great landlord and had some nice apartments for rent. All in all a good experience.

This company is truly horrible and makes all efforts possible to screw you over. I tried to sublet my apt, which they charged me for and they never subletted it for me nor would they refund. They just jacked all prices in my building up by $100 while not improving the building at all. Also, dont be late on your rent - at all, like even 2 days- cause they serve you with a five day notice. I agree with the storage issue too. This place is horrible!

We decided to use this Real Estate Agency because a friend has a very positive experience with them. We needed to find a bigger house not in Chicago for our growing family. Not only did they find us a great house without dragging into numerous houses, they also charged us a really low commission rate on the sale of our house when we contracted them to sell it. The staff there are very polite and accommodate any request that you have. I was very pleased with this company that I will be recommending it to our other friends.

This store was really cool to browse through. Their range of products is huge and range from the practical to wacky pet toys and treats. I found that their prices are very competitive with the big name chain pet stores. The only setback for me personally is that it is not close to home. But I plan to visit the store on a semi-regular basis to see what new things they have to offer my pets. The staff at this store are very friendly and eager to assist you in any way.
