I dropped our dog off last week at Tails A Waggin in Bothell. They quoted me a rate of $45 to groom her and told me that I could leave her there until I got off of work. My husband picked the dog up and not only did they tell him, they quoted me $55 the groomer did the most horrific job I've ever seen.
My husband was informed them they were overcharging what they originally quoted me, so they said they would give us the $45 rate this one time!! He mentioned the dog's haircut wasn't even and that she had shaved patches throughout her fur. They didn't offer to fix it, just dismissed him.
WE WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I wouldn't if I were you either.

We have taken our dry cleaning/ alterations for the past 5 years to Sun Cleaners with great satisfaction. Since the previous owners (Heidi) sold the business to the current owners, quality and especially service has drastically declined. My wife had a pair of jeans altered, and they appeared too long after the alteration. We took the pair of pants back to have them corrected and they wanted to charge us an additional fee to fix their mistake. Completely unprofessional and disappointing. We will never take any garments to Sun Cleaners in the future.

Hanna Ekstrom makes house calls, which is especially helpful if you have a cat who is particularly stressed out by going to the vet. When we MUST go to the vet, we used to go to Cat's Exclusive (please see my review of them) but when we just need an opinion or some wax cleaned our of an ear or something simple like that, we call Hanna Ekstrom. She is an excellent vet. The only small complaint I had about her was that she made me hold my cat when she was trying to draw blood, and that was remedied by me asking her to bring her assistant along the next time because I didn't want to hold my struggling cat. Expect to pay slightly more for a house call than you will for your normal vet, but Hanna is invaluable at times like when your cat is too stressed to take him to the vet or if you need an animal put down and you want to do it at home, she is the person to call. She sees cats, dogs and birds for sure and possibly other animals as well. She doesn't go everywhere, but if you live in her area (Shoreline, Bothell, Kenmore, etc.) give her a call.
