I'm not one to go to the theater. Really, the only time I go to the theater is simply to support a movie that I think deserves my money. The experience of the Crossroads Cinema is that of a poorly run theater, which further reduces my urge to go. There are much better theaters just a few minutes away in downtown Bellevue, with better selection, and cleaner floors. The staff have no knowledge of current films, and the website frequently contains errors regarding times, and indeed what movies are actually showing.

I am a beginner skater and found skate king to be a little too difficult. The other skaters went very quickly and weren't too nice when I had trouble getting out of their way. I felt very conspicuous as someone who didn't skate well and ended up sitting for most of the time. Maybe I will try going again at another time of day.

Wades is an indoor range, not too bad of a shooting establishment. Its a bit pricey to shoot, and have someone share a lane.. Its too bad WSI went out of business as they were their cheaper counter part only a few miles away. The price of their guns is a bit pricier than most pawn shops or specialized gun shops but its probably because its in Bellevue.. Even tho their range is pricey, its nice because they are opened every night till 11pm, so you can shoot pretty late if you get the itch too.. they now only carry S&B ammo to shoot instead of the reloads, so its a bit more expensive to buy ammo to shoot from them, but they take credit cards, and you can get everything you need there, so if you have the money its a fine place to shoot, as far as indoor ranges go its probably one of the cleaner and better constructed ones I've been too, usually all the stalls work and operate just fine so a thumbs up if you can afford it! I believe its around 12 dollars to shoot, and 8 dollars for someone to share a lane with you.. After renting a gun and getting ammo you'd probably be around 25 to 30 dollars.. Give it a try!

OK, so you just messed up with the girl friend or maybe missed the daughter's birthday. It's time to make up for it. The Museum of Doll Art is a quiet place where you can see more dolls than you might think could be collected in one place. Girls love it. Guys might be creeped out if they imagine what the place must be like at night. But if you have an interest in dolls, it is a somewhat secret treasure just a little distance away from downtown Bellevue. The collections are extensive and varied (as far as dolls go). The shop is sure to suck money from the avid doll collector's credit card. And it is a good place to hold a birthday party for a gaggle of little girls.

A skate arena like the old days! Bellevue Skate King is a favorite place with our kids. They offer public skate sessions as well as the ever popular birthday parties. If you book a birthday party, it includes skates for the kids and an area to have the gifts and food/cake in.
You can rent inline skates for a few dollars more. The floor is a bit old, but still works. The music has changed a little, but the games like hokey-pokey have not! The staff keeps it upbeat and lively by changing the sessions around a bit (couples, backwards, etc.). There are a few arcade type games there too when you tire of skating.

This little shop is all about dance. You should be able to find anything you need -- shoes, tights, leotards and all the hair foo-foos you could imagine. My daughter (long past 3 now) has very fond memories of it from the time we were shopping for itty bitty ballet slippers. Have fun!

The Bellevue Arts Museum (and it is Arts, not Art) is a large building. They frequently rotate the displays, often taking up the entire museum for one theme. The last time I visited, they had teapots! Ever hear of a world famous teapot? Exactly. You're not going to find any world class stuff here, but for the cost of a movie, you can stare at teapots instead. Wow!
